Hubert

Hubert
(d. 727)
   Saint and Bishop.
Hubert was consecrated Bishop of Maestricht in 705 and later he became Bishop of Liège. According to legend he was converted to Christianity by seeing an image of the crucified Jesus Christ between the antlers of a stag he was hunting. However, this story rightly belongs to St eustace. None the less Hubert is still regarded as a patron of huntsmen and a hunting horn supposedly his can be seen in the Wallace Collection in London.
